Sustainable Socks

Plastic has made our life much easier, but also damaging our environment and all the species on earth in one way or another. Millions of animals die of plastic yearly, from birds to fish to other marine life. Plastic particles can block the digestive tract or puncture organs, causing death or filling the animal's stomach, leading to loss of appetite and, eventually, starvation and death. But there is a solution to this problem. We should produce and use sustainable products. So, we are taking the initiative and making sustainable socks.
Sustainable socks are made up of recycled materials and polyethylene terephthalate. It is recovered from all kinds of reusable materials, mainly plastic bottles and bags.
There is not much difference in appearance if we compare sustainable and regular socks, so the supplier must provide a copy of the material certificate and hangtag on the socks as proof. Sustainable socks are a little more expensive than regular socks, generally speaking, USD 0.2 per pair.
There are two main points that you should keep in mind about sustainable socks:
1. Colorfastness is not good in sustainable socks, so do not use pure white color.
2. Keep the knitting speed slow to save the material from any damage.
We have REPREVE and GRS certificates to prove the suitability of the material. We can produce 5M pairs of socks every year. Size, colors, and designs can be customized according to customers' requirements.
The process of making sustainable socks can be simplified into four steps:
1. Collect bottles and other reusable plastic materials;
2. Clean them and smash them into granules;
3. Extract polyester and produce knitting yarns;
4. Dye colors according to buyer's requirements.
